Ways To Earn A Varsity Track Letter


From Beginning of the season to the end of the season you must earn a total of ten points


Ways to earn points
1/2 point....Recruit a new member to the team. That member must last the season.
1/2 point....For every meet run as a varsity athlete..duels not counted
1/2 point....miss no more than 5 days of the season
1 point....Miss no more than 3 days of the season
1 point...Place in top 5 per event per meet..1/4 pt if in a relay...duels not counted
3 Points...Place in the top 5 per event at the conference meet
4 Points...Place in the top 5 per event at the regionals meet
5 Points...Place in the top 5 per event at the sectionals meet
10 Points...Break a school record
10 Points..Make All Conference
10 points..compete at State
...Coach's discretion
